A lifelong car enthusiast, Nethercutt dreamed of creating a museum that would showcase the finest examples of automotive design and engineering from around the world. After decades of collecting cars, motorcycles, and other automobilia, Nethercutt’s dream became a reality when The Nethercutt Collection opened its doors to the public in 1971.
The collection contains over 250 vehicles, ranging from early 20th century antiques to modern exotics, as well as countless pieces of automobilia. In addition to the vehicles on display, The Nethercutt Collection also features a working mechanical shop where restoration work is conducted on some of the rarest automobiles in existence. Seeing these masterpieces in person is an unforgettable experience, and admission to the museum is free!
